Nuttalls add sparkle with award winning Fortnum and Mason store and bar

Fortnum and Mason store and bar at Heathrow by Interior fit-out specialist The Alan Nuttall Partnership Ltd

Nuttalls, leading designer and manufacturer of interiors and display equipment, has recently completed the fit out of a new Fortnum and Mason store and bar at Heathrow Terminal 5. Acting as Principal Contractor, Nuttalls project managed the fit-out of the store, bespoke features, island bar and supporting catering kitchen.

In October 2015 “The Bar” won the Best Restaurant or Bar in a Transport Space at the prestigious international Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, a competition with entries from over 70 countries across the globe.

This particular store enables passengers to indulge in Fortnum’s famous selection of luxury foods or enjoy a drink whilst waiting for their flights. For this reason, ambience, aesthetics and design were of paramount importance to the project whilst also reflecting the brand qualities of such an iconic store. Feedback from the client about the striking design, exceptional finish, attention to detail and overall smooth project management of the fit out prove we really do deliver on luxury store interiors for high end brands.

Nuttalls’ specialist team sourced marble flooring and glazed tile finishes for the bar, along with portland stone flooring and fascia as well as a specialist bronze shopfront for the store.

The interiors also feature polished plaster finishes and a specially commissioned lighting scheme, with the process fully managed by Nuttalls and delivered within an 11 week programme.
