Airport Retail Enterprises UK Ltd required a turnkey solution for the full fit-out of the award-winning Grain Store Café and Bar at South Terminal Gatwick.
Selected for the wealth of expertise within airport development, Nuttalls acted as Principal Contractor to deliver the full fit-out of Chef Bruno Loubet and The Zetter Group’s first restaurant outside of King’s Cross.
Working in partnership with Russell Sage Studios and Catering Designer, Graham Barrie, Nuttalls oversaw the planning, consultancy, build and installation to transform a bare shell unit into a full service restaurant.
Features of the build included a white tiled takeaway counter, feature bar and open kitchen in the restaurant. A five metre long glass wall which offers the public a window into the kitchen was also installed and is the first of its kind in any airport.
